The problem with most programmable thermostats is that to control them real-time, you need to be physically present to modify the temperature and humidity settings. It is difficult to control, reset or limit settings and over-rides unless the thermostat is physically locked and someone local has access to it.

Small radios are installed in the thermostats and relays and transmit readings every 1.5 seconds to a locally installed gateway which can control multiple thermostats and devices.

The gateway communicates to the PowerMand data center to record your consumption information.

You access the PowerMand data center over the web – from anywhere – to monitor and control each thermostat and device.

Using standard, proven technology, PowerMand offers the only solution designed to be installed on existing equipment, controlled over the web providing you real-time monitoring and control – and increased savings.
